Miscellany
From 1995 to 2000
I've been fortunate to gain after-hours access to the High Museum twice so that I could photograph it. The first time, I photographed some of the statuary in their permanent collection. The second, I was allowed in to photograph the building itself. All of the images in the top row are of the original building as designed by Richard Meir before the additions by Renzo Piano.
In 2000, I traveled to White Sands, New Mexico where I was able to photograph one of my favorite subjects, white objects that aren't rendered white on film because of the color temperature of the light shining on them.
Along with images from the High Museum and White Sands, this section includes a few details from Atlanta, New Orleans, Santa Fe, the North Georgia mountains and flowing water studies from around 2000. This group of images is smaller than the other chronological groups because most of my time during these years was spent learning about graphic design and web design.
